Luv Sky is excited to launch our new website feature; taking customers behind the brand- sharing new insights into the businesses foundation, daily operations and a few sneak peaks into what we’ve been working on :)

OUR ORIGIN STORY

GETTING STARTED…

Luv sky was founded in 2018, by 15-year-old Sky at the time. As a young entrepreneur selling hand-made bracelets from the front of her home, Sky found her passion, fast forward to now where she continues to find a place for the brand within the industry.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

FINDING INSPIRATION

After getting her ears pierced in year 9, Sky was quickly inspired by the trends of the accessories world, as well as likes of friends. What followed was a passionate deep dive into the markets available resources; exploring what was already out there, and what was missing. Following her extensive research of the market, Sky sought to define her own niche for affordable and sustainable jewellery.                                                                                                                       

THE LAUNCH 

Through sourcing and establishing strong relationships with international suppliers, Luv Sky was brought to life, officially launching in December of 2018. The first drop quickly led to the second, and third, and distribution relied on the joint effort of founder Sky and the team to see these orders reach customers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

GOING SUSTAINABLE

Packing her first order from her bedroom floor, Luv Sky has grown over the past 5 years, continuing in their dedication to emphasise quality and sustainability. To date, Sky believes the factor most integral to the businesses continued success lies within her commitment to sustainability. In 2021, the business made a trailblazing shift from fashion jewellery to a 100% Recycled Sterling Silver range. As a business Luv Sky is very excited to have re-envisioned a more sustainable take on accessories and is insurmountably proud of the brands achieved ethos thus far.                            

TODAY

Beginning this journey independently, the Luv Sky team has grown along with the business, though still maintaining a close-knit team. Much to the business’s roots, each collection is modelled by friends, and the streets of Melbourne remain the perfect backdrop for the brands evolving identity. Going from front-lawn stalls to dog washing, to now opening pop-up stores in highly populated markets around Melbourne, Luv Sky continues to expand as a business, reaching broader markets, setting new goals and meeting new achievements. Luv Sky looks towards the future excitedly and invites you to follow the business' endeavours!
